India's ICC Elite Panel match referee, Javagal Srinath, has been nominated to inspect the new cricket venues at Assam and Thiruvananthapuram, as a process to get the accreditation to stage international matches. Srinath will visit Raipur and Lucknow for the same purpose. All venues are functional.

The former India fast bowler, Srinath's schedule will be soon planned by the BCCI's GM, Cricket Operations, M. V. Sridhar.

The two new venues, Assam and Thiruvananthapuram, were on August 1, allotted matches by the BCCI for Twenty20 internationals against Australia and Sri Lanka, without the ICC accreditation.
