It will be a battle between Rajasthan Royals’ bowling and Delhi Daredevils’ batting when the two teams face off on Saturday.
After the high of winning the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League in 2008, Rajasthan Royals have been struggling to even make the knock-out rounds ever since. But captain Rahul Dravid is hopeful of turning the tide this time around. “We have a good team and I am hoping to come good. We have bowlers with pace and variety. In addition we also have someone like Brad Hodge in the spin department, so I am confident,” he said on the eve of the match.
“In Twenty20, a fast bowler has to go flat out. Unless you are express quick, it is better to work more on having variations,” Dravid said. He also put his faith in the team’s younger lot. “We have quite a few youngsters who can make a difference.”
