After a sixth defeat in six games, a beleaguered Royal Challengers Bangalore will need a "miracle" to advance to the IPL playoffs, admits Moeen Ali.
"We need to win, obviously, all our games. We know that and it's going to be a miracle, to be honest," the all-rounder said after his side's loss to Delhi Capitals on Sunday.
Frustration
RCB was training hard but pressure and frustration were affecting the players, Moeen said.
"We are doing the right things in training, but out on the field we're a bit nervous at times and feel a bit of pressure. The mood in the camp is fine; it's just frustrating as cricketers.
“We're making the same mistakes almost every game, dropping catches, giving wickets away, and you can't afford to do that in the IPL. With all the frustration, it's difficult [to perform].
“You go into games thinking you don't want to be the guy to make the mistake and I don't think you can afford to do that. You have to go out, back yourself, back your instincts, just go out and play, enjoy the crowd, the atmosphere. We're trying to do that but I don't think it's quite happening," he said.

Virat Kohli echoed those sentiments at the post-match presentation, lamenting the fact that dropped catches had cost his side again.
“We need to grab those chances; we shouldn't give excuses," he said. "When the mind is cluttered, you won't be able to focus on the chances that come your way. We weren't good enough on the day again. And that's the whole story of our season so far."
