MRF signed South Africa ODI captain A.B. de Villiers as its new brand ambassador on Tuesday.
“MRF is proud to sign de Villiers as its new brand ambassador and I am certain that this will be a very productive association,” said K.M. Mammen, chairman and managing director, MRF Limited.
Expressing his delight at the partnership, de Villiers said it was an honour to be the face of an Indian company.
“MRF has become one of the biggest names in cricket worldwide, and I look forward to making an important contribution to the company. It is also a great honour for me, as a proud South African, to be associated with such a successful Indian company, which is one of the largest manufacturers of tyres in this part of the world.”
The association is for a three-year period and de Villiers will endorse the company’s products and services through advertising campaigns and other promotional activities.
