Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has pulled out of an upcoming meet in South Korea.

Bolt’s agent told the organising committee of the Daegu Pre-Championship Meeting that the reigning world and Olympic champions in the 100 and 200 metres is too tired to take part in the one-day competition on September 25 in Daegu.

Daegu is host of the 2011 athletics World Championships.

Yonhap news agency cited organising committee vice-president Moon Dong-hoo as saying that Bolt is also expected to miss the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix scheduled for September 20.
