In India, there has been an 8.7 percentage jump in C-section deliveries in 2015-16 compared to 2005-06.

 

While such deliveries went up across all States, some such as Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Manipur saw an increase of more than 10 percentage points.
