An international space exhibition was opened on June 1 at the Vienna International Centre, Vienna, Austria, to celebrate 50 years of human space flight and the 50th anniversary of the first session of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS).

The aim is to highlight the potential of space technology and space matters. The exhibition, till June 10, has been organised by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), which has helped promote cooperation between countries to bring the benefits of space activities to people.
