>>In connection with a report “Kayani's term extended by three years” (July 23, 2010, page 1), the writer clarifies that the Pakistan Chief of Army Staff's name was misspelt, where General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani went as Ashraf Pervez Kayani.

>>The caption of a standalone photograph titled “Live attraction” (Some Andhra Pradesh editions, July 22, 2010, page 5) said: “The tortoise being grown in park tank in Khammam is the attraction of visitors, especially children.” The reptile was a freshwater turtle.
