That a picture can convey what a million words cannot is proved by the photograph of a vehicle with two children jumping off the track after hitting a tree at a racing venue in Visakhapatnam (June 25).
The picture reinforces the need for wearing safety belts. It should have been published on the front page. The impact of the picture on youngsters would be profound as the trauma of the injured is visible. With accidents involving youngsters on the rise, such pictures should be given more importance.
