Canada’s stance

May 15, 2017 11:57 pm | Updated 11:57 pm IST

India’s lukewarm response to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s presence at a “Khalsa Day” parade in Toronto is reprehensible (”Mixed signals from Toronto”, May 15). It is mystifying why this covert snub, aimed at our territorial integrity, was taken lying down. Why has Canada not learnt lessons from the rest of the western world on the dangers of playing with fire?
