Hours after RJD chief Lalu Prasad asserted that his son and Deputy CM  Tejaswi Yadav would not resign  from his post over corruption charges, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday evening resigned saying that it has become extremely difficult for him to occupy the CM's chair in the present circumstances.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad on Wednesday ruled out the resignation of his son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav as Bihar Deputy Chief Minister in the wake of the CBI filing an FIR against him as an accused in the land-for-hotels case.
