Two soldiers die in firing along LoC in Poonch

Two soldiers and two infiltrators were killed on the Line of Control (LoC) as Pakistan army’s Border Action Team (BAT) attempted to intrude inside the Indian territory in Poonch on Thursday.

The attack on the area patrol party, the third such by the BAT this year, took place around 2 p.m on Thursday.

Army sources said the infiltrators were spotted and engaged in a firefight “The infiltrators were fired upon. As the firefight was going on, Pakistani posts too resorted to heavy firing.” “In the gunfight, two jawans were killed,” the army said.
