Narendra Modi inaugurates Bansagar canal project in Mirzapur

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Bansagar canal project and laid the foundation stone for Mirzapur medical college in Uttar Pradesh   on Sunday.

Mr. Modi, while addressing a public meeting in Mirzapur after the inauguration, attacked the previous governments headed by Opposition parties, accusing them of neglecting the people and not completing development projects on time.

Woman gang-raped and burnt alive in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal

A woman was burnt alive after having been gang-raped allegedly by five persons in her house in Gunnaur area, near Sambhal, the police said on July 15.

The incident took place late on July 13 when the 30-year-old victim was alone in her house with her daughter, the police said, adding the five persons barged into her house and allegedly raped her.

Multiple casualties in suicide attack near Afghan ministry: police
