Trinamool wins four municipalities, GJM three
The Trinamool Congress won four, while the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) retained three municipalities in the West Bengal civic elections. Results of the elections to seven civic bodies were declared on Wednesday. This is the first time in three decades that a party not from the hills has managed to win a civic body in Darjeeling.
