Water released from SRSP

A total of 5,900 cusecs of water at the rate of 5,500 in the main canal Kakatiya, 300 in Saraswathi and 100 in Laxmi canal is being released from the Sri Ram Sagar Project for the kharif operations.

Engineering authorities released the water after the water level in the project touched 1086 ft as against its full reservoir level of 1091 ft. As of now, the reservoir has 70.351 tmcf of water as against its full capacity of 90 tmcf.

Inflows receded to 2,670 cusecs.
