Two new hospitals to come up in Warangal

Two new hospitals will come up in the district as Health Minister Ch. Laxma Reddy laid foundation stone for a 100-bedded hospital at Bhupalpalli and a 50-bedded hospital at Chityal mandal here on Sunday.

The hospital at Bhupalpalli mandal headquarters is being taken up at an estimated cost of Rs. 23.50 crore, while the one at Chityal at Rs. 9.50 crore.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that poor people would be benefitted. “These are far away from the district headquarters and will benefit those living in distant corners of the district,” he said.

Mr. Laxma Reddy urged the people to keep aside political differences and make success the programmes launched by the government.

Speaker S. Madhusudhana Chary thanked the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for sanctioning two hospitals for the district.

According to him, a central lighting system is being take up at a cost of Rs. 3.5 lakh and modernisation of electrical lines with Rs. 2 crore in Bhupalpalli town.
