Two killed in accidents in Nalgonda

Two persons were killed in two accidents and two others sustained serious injuries in the district on Tuesday.

Lorry hits motorbike

A couple, Chinthamallla Rajaiah and Janamma (43), from Kontalapally village of Tripuraram mandal was proceeding to Miryalagdua from their village on a bike when a lorry coming from behind hit their two-wheeler causing serious injuries to them.

Janamma died on the spot while her husband sustained serious injuries.

The couple was survived by three daughters. A case was registered.

In another incident, anRTC bus rammed a two wheeler coming in the opposite direction at Jagadevpur junction near Bhongir.

One of the two persons riding the bike, Mallaiah (32), died on the spot while his friend Srinivas (30) was rushed to a hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

The condition of Srinivas, who is undergoing treatment was stated to be critical.

A case was registered.
