TU promises good amenities to hostellers

Registrar Telangana University R. Limbadri has said that the varsity will make efforts to provide proper accommodation to all those who are eligible and the needy students from the current academic year.

For which he directed the authorities to go round all hostels and rooms and check whether any problem with regard to power and water supply, carpentry work and drainage and so on were there. He also asked them to arrange meshes to all windows to prevent mosquitoes and other insects into rooms. At a meeting with the varsity authorities on Thursday he said students should be provided with nutritious food at hostels and hostel environs be kept clean. He said all kinds of files pertaining to the hostels would be computerized from this academic year and necessary software was being prepared.

Prof. Limbadri said that the TU aimed at providing good accommodation and academic atmosphere to keep the varsity ahead of all other varsities in the State. Principal P. Kanakaiah, Chief Warden K. Ravinder Reddy were also present,
