TRS flayed over cancellation of Assembly session

October 10, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:52 am IST - WARANGAL:

The TRS government has asked farmers not to grow paddy as it is unable to supply power to them. Farmers, therefore, are not inclined towards taking up farming, said Congress senior leader G.V. Ramana Reddy. Despite farmers not growing crops for a full season, the government claims there were no problems in the farming sector. Even after coming to power, the TRS is trying to escape responsibility by blaming the past governments and Andhra forces. “The State government should explain why farmers are committing suicide.” “We challenge the Ministers and MLAs of the ruling party to travel in villages without police escort. They will really taste public anger then,” Mr. Ramana Reddy pointed out, adding that the government had also cancelled the Assembly session too early.
