A. Rajamani, Chairperson, Zilla Parishad, has said that development would be on top of the agenda and it would be achieved with the help of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao and others.

Ms. Rajamani took charge as Chairperson at the office on Monday. She was welcomed by the officials with ‘poornakumbham.’

She was congratulated by Narsapur MLA Ch. Madan Reddy, party district unit president R. Satyanarayana and district in-charge Rajaiah Yadav.

Later speaking to reporters, Mr. Rajaiah Yadav has alleged that both Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Union Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu were responsible for the merger of seven mandals of Khammam district of Telangana in Andhra Pradesh which was not justified. “They have conspired to do injustice to tribal people by merging the areas in Andhra. The Union Government was not heeding to the objections being made by other States including Telangana to change the design. We will fight on the issue till the end,” he said.
