Super-speciality hospital in Sircilla

It is to have specialist treatments

The state-of-the-art modern 300 bedded Super-speciality hospital to come up at the Sircilla textile town in Rajanna-Sircilla district at a cost of ₹158.70 crore during this financial year.

The State government had issued a government order on Friday.

Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao, who represents the Sircilla assembly segment, strived for the sanction of super-speciality hospital to the town to provide modern medicare to the people of the district. The hospital would either be housed in the existing Area hospital or at a new location on the by-pass road.

Collector D. Krishna Bhaskar said the super-speciality hospital would have several specialists’ treatments such as cardiology, cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery, gastro-enterology, neurology, neuro-surgery, surgical gastro-enterology, nephrology and dialysis, endocrinology, burns and plastic surgery, pulmonary essential care, nuclear medicine, emergency medicare and others.

Operation theatres

It would have seven major operation theatres and three minor operations theatres. Besides, there would be 15 out-patient departments. The hospital would also house a nursing college and other facilities.
