Six killed in road mishap in Karimnagar district

In a tragic incident, six persons were killed and four others injured in a gruesome road accident in Ganganagar locality of Karimnagar district on Friday night.

Reports said the victims — all hailing from Warangal district — had visited the Godavarikhani area to attend a funeral in a Tata Ace vehicle. On their return journey, a coal-laden lorry hit them from behind killing four persons on the spot.

Two others succumbed to injuries at Godavarikhani area hospital.
