Six passengers of a hired bus of the TSRTC were injured when a speeding lorry rammed it at Konijerla on Khammam-Thallada main road on Thursday.
Sources said that a five-axle lorry crashed into the Khammam-bound bus from rear side at Konijerla after the lorry driver lost control of the vehicle on Thursday morning.
The bus tilted to one side abutting the main road and the lorry ploughed into a roadside cotton field before hitting a pole and coming to a halt. Six passengers of the bus and the cleaners of both the vehicles suffered injuries in the accident. The injured persons were admitted to a hospital in Khammam and their condition is stated to be stable.
