Three drown in lift irrigation reservoir

: Three youngsters, all residents of Old Colony of Kagaznagar in Adilabad district, drowned in the under construction Jagannathput lift irrigation scheme on Thursday when they entered it for a swim. The deceased were identified as Md. Abrar (21), a B.Tech third year student in Hyderabad, his cousins, Md. Aziz (18), and Md. Munawwar (17), studying Intermediate second and first year respectively in Kagaznagar town. According to the police, the three boys reached the project while on a morning walk along with a cousin Md. Junaid (21), also a B.Tech student. The search for bodies is on.
