The Lok Satta udyama samstha district unit has demanded that the government abolish GOs 30, 525 and 526, which are aimed at reinstating the suspended, corrupt government employees caught red-handed by the ACB.
In a press note here on Thursday, Lok Satta district president N. Srinivas and secretary Prakash Holla said that the government should bring in a legislation for the speedy disposal of corruption cases against government employees within six months, without any further delay.
They also demanded that the government bring in the Lokayukta on par with Karnataka.
They also said that the government should launch a campaign against corruption in all the districts.
Earlier, the Lok Satta felicitated a farmer, Sridhar Rao, of Daroor village near Jagtial, for helping the ACB corner the Jagtial surveyor for demanding and accepting bribe.
