The Supreme Court Collegium on Wednesday reiterated its recommendation of transferring Telangana High Court Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan to Calcutta High Court.

The Collegium comprising Chief Justice of Supreme Court Ranjan Gogoi along with four senior-most judges of the apex court said it had resolved to reiterate its decision to transfer Chief Justice Radhakrishnan from the HC of Telangana to that of Calcutta.

The recommendation made by the Collegium on January 10 this year was referred back by the Union government to the CJI for reconsideration. All aspects pointed out by the Union government for reconsideration of the decision were already thought of, the Collegium stated.

“Nothing new has been brought to our notice,” the statement from the Collegium said.
