The Chief Minister’s Office Secretary Smitha Sabharwal has instructed the district officials to make elaborate arrangements for the successful conduct of launching of Rythu Bandhu scheme by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao between Shalapalli and Indiranagar villages of Huzurabad mandal on May 10.

At a review meeting with the district officials here on Monday, Ms Smitha Sabharwal informed the officials to erect huge shamianas to accommodate one lakh farmers within barricades. She said that they would be deploying 2,000 buses for the mobilisation of farmers from the erstwhile undivided Karimnagar district. She directed the agricultural and revenue department officials to provide drinking water and lunch arrangements for the all the farmers on their arrival and return to their villages.

She also instructed the officials to construct two helipads at the venue. She said that the Chief Minister would distribute rythu bandhu cheques to the Dharmarajpalli villagers and also pattadar passbooks. Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad, Commissioner of Police V.B. Kamalasan Reddy, Joint Collector B. Srinivas and others were also present.
