Plea for airport at Kothagudem

Setting up of an airport at Kothagudem and introducing a new bus service between Manuguru and Madhapur (Hitec city) in Hyderabad were some of the suggestions that came up during discussions at the 44th meeting of the Khammam District Air, Rail and Bus Users Association held in Gautaminagar (HWPM Colony) in Aswapuram mandal on Tuesday.

Heavy Water Plant, Manuguru, Chief General Manager, K Vishwanath, presided over the meeting which was attended by Heavy Water Board, Mumbai, Director (RPTD), C Seshasai, and the officials of the TSRTC, Indian Railways, and the representatives of various companies and organisations.

They also asked to extend the Vijayawada-Kothagudem train service up to Manuguru.
