‘Project Disha’, a partnership of the India Development Foundation and the United Nations Development Programme, will conduct a two-day placement drive for women students at the Mahatma Gandhi University campus here on August 16 and 17.
Supported by the IKEA Foundation, the project aims to support one million underprivileged women, by helping them learn employability skills leading to secure employment or start own businesses. The two-day programme starts with registration of candidates and interview skills training, and their face-to-face interviews with select companies the next day.
Registrations will open on Thursday at 9 a.m. at the University’s Arts Block.
