Nalgonda police gears up for festival season

In an effort to maintain peace during the festival season, the Nalgonda police have decided to set up control room at police head quarters. Announcing the decision, Superintendent of Police, Vikram Jeet Duggal, said they have decided to set up the control room apart from taking various others measures to maintain law order during Ramadan and Ganesh Chathurthi festivals. He asked the citizens to call on 9959716353 to lodge complaints. Stating that they would improve the surveillance at all the important places, Mr. Duggal said that they would also intensify patrolling and have more night beats during the season. The SP promised that they would provide additional security at all the mosques in the district throughout the Ramadan month.
