January 08, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:49 am IST - WARANGAL:

D. Vinay Bhaskar, the legislator of Warangal (West) released the report of the progress that his constituency has done in the last six months here on Wednesday.

He listed out the works executed such as new roads, community halls built in colonies, new drainages, repairs to roads, street-lighting, laying of new drinking water pipelines among others.

Rs. 25 crore sanctioned

“In the last six months Chief Minister had sanctioned Rs.25 crore for various works in the constituency,” he said.

A huge memorial building named after Kaloji Narayana Rao and cultural town Shilparamam would be coming up soon in Hanamkonda in addition to many other major projects, he added.

“While in Opposition, the then Chief Minister did not release any money for the development.

Despite many repeated requests for 300 square yards of land for Kaloji Memorial Building, no action was taken.

But now, the new Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had sanctioned around 3.5 acres of land and Rs. 10 crore funds for the same,” Mr. Vinay Bhaskar explained.

Employment opportunities for youth

The Chief Minister is aware of the problems of each district and keen to develop Warangal.

Hence, there would not be any problem in releasing of funds for development in the days to come.

The Warangal, Hanamkonda and Kazipet cities would witness enormous development and creation of employment opportunities soon, the legislator said.

IT companies in Madikonda

“The IT Minister has consented to ensure setting up of some IT companies in Madikonda area and all the engineering graduates can get employment here,” Mr. Vinay Bhaskar hoped.

“The proposed industrial corridor between Warangal and Hyderabad will bring more jobs to youth and development to the district,” he said.
