Minister promises Rs. 50 crore for development of Patancheru

Minister for Roads and Buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao and Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao said that Rs. 50 crore would be sanctioned for the development of Patancheru constituency. Participating in various development programmes at Bontapally, Gaddapotaram, Vadakpally, Jinnaram and Patancheru in the constituency on Sunday, Mr. Nageswara Rao said that Mallanna Sagar tank would be developed as mini tank bund and it would be soon inaugurated by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao shortly. “Hyderabad- Bhaimsa road would be developed as national high way. We have already waived Rs. 16,000 crore farm loans and extended input subsidy to farmers. In addition, as many as 46,000 tanks are being developed under Mission Kakatiya,” he said adding that bankers should issue new loans to farmers as loan waiver papers were already issued to farmers and government has promised to pay the interest. “The government is committed to bring Godavari water and provide irrigation to all districts. The present crisis in the farming and suicides of farmers were result of the previous governments’ rule. We stand by the famer and extend all help ,” said Mr. Nageswara Rao. He also stated that the government would take care of the children and their education of families of farmers who had committed suicide. The committee appointed by the government would look into the problems ASHA workers, he added. Mr. Harish Rao said that the government would extend another 50,000 gas connections under Deepam for beneficiaries in the district. MLA G. Mahipal Reddy, MP K Prabhakar Reddy were also present.
