Vattam Rambabu, a Manuguru-based local leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), created a flutter on Sunday alleging the wife of a key TRS leader of Pinapaka Assembly constituency conspired to eliminate him by hiring a gang of contract killers.
Talking to mediapersons in Manuguru on Sunday, he alleged that the wife of the TRS key leader hired a ‘supari gang’ to kill him unable to digest his growing popularity in the constituency.
Those behind the conspiracy are worried that I may get a chance to contest from the Pinapaka constituency in the next Assembly elections, he said alleging that a person from Karimnagar district and two other members of the ‘supari gang’ conducted a recee at his house a couple of days ago.
