May 16, 2015 12:00 am | Updated May 23, 2016 04:09 pm IST - WARANGAL:

The Mahajana Socialist Party would organize a Mahila Garjana in Hyderabad on June 5 seeking representation to women MLAs in Telangana Cabinet, said party president Manda Krishna Madiga.

Speaking to newsmen here on Thursday, he said the MSP leaders would also meet the Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari on Friday asking him to be part of all-party delegation to New Delhi regarding categorisation of Scheduled Castes.

The TRS government promised to take the delegation to New Delhi to put pressure on the Centre but failed to do so.

He expressed concern over the lack of review meetings on the functioning of social welfare department, the portfolio being held by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
