The Lok Satta udyama samstha Karimnagar district unit has urged Rajanna-Sircilla District Collector D. Krishna Bhaskar to conduct an open forum to resolve the genuine problems pertaining to the land oustees of the Mid Manair Dam project.

Lok Satta district president N. Srinivas and general secretary Prakash Holla said that they were ready to conduct the open forum with the land oustees of various villages and also urged the Collector to attend along with the irrigation and revenue officials.

They alleged large-scale irregularities in the payment of compensation to the land oustees of MMD and pointed out that majority of them had not received the amount as per R&R package.

They said that there were irregularities in the payment of compensation to the non-residents in Cheerlavancha, Shabhaspalli and other villages. They said that the officials in collusion with some elected representatives have revalued the structures and siphoned off crores of rupees denying the same to the real land oustees.
