Inspector meets with freak accident in Nirmal, critical

Jupaka Krishnamurthy, a 38-year-old Inspector of Police attached to the DGP office in Hyderabad, was injured in a freak road accident late on Tuesday night near Gamjal toll plaza in Nirmal district. 

His wife Divyalatha (32) and daughter Pravallika (5) were with him at the time of accident. 

A car speeding on the NH-44 in the other side hit the divider and fell on the car driven by the Inspector in the opposite direction.

Mr. Krishnamurthy belonged to Peddapalli district head quarter town.

According to police, Mr. Krishnamurthy had worked as Gadiguda SI in Adilabad district before being promoted as Inspector. He was coming from Hyderabad to Adilabad town to his in laws’ house.
