Collector Manickaraj Kannan said that the human resources development should commence from the school level which would transform a generation.

Addressing students and parents after felicitating students who got 10 GPA in SSC exams, Mr. Manickaraj said that students can achieve anything in life if they commit themselves.

Teacher counsellors

“The government school students achieved results on par with private schools. I might have opted for teaching had I not been into civil services. Only a teacher will have chance to mould a student for the better,” said Mr. Manickaraj adding that teachers should act as counsellors for students and guide them on the path of development.

Joint Collector V. Venkateswarlu said that human resource development does not mean infrastructure development but achieving long-term results by all those working in different sections.

Former DEO L. Chandrakala said that students’ attendance, grading examinations, special classes, model tests yielded good result. DEO Vijaya Kumari and others were present.
