Buoyed by the success of the ‘Tirupati Joyride’, a heli-tourism initiative by Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) and Pawan Hans Limited (A Government of India Enterprise), launched during the conduct of Srivari Brahmotsavams last month, the officials have announced to operate similar services during the upcoming Navaratri Brahmotsavams at Tirumala.

Interacting with the media, here on Saturday, APTDC Divisional Manager R.V. Suresh Kumar Reddy announced that they would commence the services from October 11 (Sunday) and continue till October 25.

The joyrides priced at Rs.1999 per individual would cover the aerial view of Tirupati and will begin from Sriharidham near S.V. Zoological Park from 9 am to 4.30 pm.

Tickets will be made available from 9 am at Sriharidham counter.

Pawan Hans DGM Manish Rokade, AP Tourism Officer (Tirupati) Y. Ravindra Reddy and others took part.
