Design expo at Hitex

In an attempt to bring contemporary trends in the emerging interior design industry in Telangana State, the Hyderabad chapter of Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID) is hosting ‘Insider-X Design Expo’ between January 9 and 11 at Hitex, Madhapur, a statement said. This is the first time that IIID has brought together interior designers, architects, traders and academicians to come up with a B2B design expo for Hyderabad.

The event is a primarily B2B exhibition that will showcase the best of global trends in architecture and interior design.

It will feature over 150 reputed products from across the country, contemporary design solutions, talks and seminars by reputed architects along with interesting workshops. “We are also planning to use the proceeds from the event for CSR activities,” IIID, Hyderabad, chairperson Sona Chatwani said.

According to exhibition convenor Manoj Wahi, the expo is the place to ideate and learn. “The exhibition is tailor-made for architects, interior designers or design related trade professional, builder, project manager, MEP consultant, defence, represent government and semi-government organisations, corporate, home-maker, home-builder, architecture and academician and scholars,” he said.

On January 9 and 10 the event will remain open for business between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. while for general public it will be open between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. On January 11, the expo will remain open for business and general public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
