February 19, 2022 08:41 pm | Updated 08:47 pm IST - HYDERABAD

BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the party would fight for issues faced by people and it was the time for Hindus to be awake.

While taking part in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj birth anniversary celebrations at Boinpally in Medchal urban district on Saturday along with party activists, Mr. Sanjay said that Shivaji had fought for Hindus when Mughal rulers attacked the Hindu religion. Jijabai raised Shivaji as a fighter to fight for Hindu Dharma.

“Jijabai should be a role model for women. Recently, Hindus are being termed as fanatics. But, this is the time for Hindus to be alert. We do not criticise other religions but will not tolerate if someone criticises Rama or Sita. Humiliating Hindu women in the name of Love Jihad will not be tolerated. There is no safety for Hindus in Telangana,” he said.
