Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy said that a modern control and coordination room would be established at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad which would be connected to all districts.

“We will get information on any incident that takes place in any of the districts and act immediately without any delay,” he said while speaking to reporters here on Tuesday. As part of learning lessons from Mumbai incidents, the government has decided to establish a mobile armed party with vehicles at every important junction in the city to face any eventuality. Informing that about Rs. 340 crore was so far spent for infrastructure in the department, he said 1,600 Innova vehicles and 1,500 motorcycles were handed over to the department for better performance.

Mr. Reddy said that four battalions have been sanctioned for Telangana State and the government was ready to provide one battalion for Medak if land was allocated by the administration.
