Common pay scales to judicial staff sought

The All India Judicial Employees’ Association president Shakeel Ahmed has said that the association had urged the Central Government and also the Supreme Court of India to implement common pay scales to all the judicial employees across the country.

Attending as the chief guest at the Telangana State Judicial Employees’ Association first meeting held here on Sunday, he said that when it was submitted to the Supreme Court in the form of a petition it had taken it as a priority item number one to hear. The association also urged the Centre to establish a separate High Court for the State of Telangana and implement the Shetti Commission recommendations, he said.

It also appealed to the Government to bring all legal departments delivering functions in different Ministries to be clubbed together.
