Finance Minister Eatala Rajender, Animal Husbandry Minister T. Srinivas Yadav and Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari would be launching the distribution of buffaloes at Mulkanoor village in Bheemdevarapally on Saturday.

The State government intends to give buffaloes to 64,304 members of Vijaya Dairy, 19,307 members of Mulkanoor Mahila Dairy, 43,006 members of Mother Dairy with an estimate of ₹1,500 crore. The members would be getting the benefit on subsidy.

The State government would provide insurance for a period of three years and also ensure supply of 300 kgs of fodder. The government would also give ₹5,000 towards transportation of the animals.
