After Murkook in Mulugu mandal, it’s Paulamaparthi to get the attention of the Chief Minister. He promised the villagers of Paulamaparthi in Wargal mandal of developing the village by sanctioning various schemes. He was on his way back to Hyderabad from Yerravalli in Jagadevpur mandal when he stopped at Paulamaparthi for a short time. He also interacted with the villagers and gave a patient hearing to their woes. One Kanaka Swami of Bhuvanagiri in Nalgonda district approached the Chief Minister seeking financial assistance as he had lost both his hands in an accident. Mr. Rao assured him of all help possible.

Two women, Savithri and Mamatha, who also shared their problems with the Chief Minister, did not return empty-handed. Mr. Rao sanctioned Rs. 1 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s relief fund.

The promises that were made by Mr. Rao are: a village function hall with a seating capacity of 1,200 at an estimated cost of Rs. 50 lakh; veterinary building; strengthening of the existing health sub-centre; compound wall for Zilla Parishat High School; Vaikuntadhamam at Rs. 20 lakh; internal CC roads worth Rs. 50 lakh; storm water drain at a cost of Rs. 70 lakh; two Anganwadi centres; three bore-wells with motor and pipelines; 150 house sites and houses; two additional halls for the existing gram panchayat building; bus shelter and two high mast lights.
