District Hospital Superintendent Dr. R. Murahari and senior assistant N. Narender Goud were nabbed by the officials of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday afternoon while accepting a bribe of ₹80,000 to do an official favour to another doctor.

According to ACB officials, Dr. Murahari demanded money to extend the contract period of Dr. K. Hymavathi up to March 2019 from her husband Dr. V. Sridhar Kumar, working as deputy civil surgeon at the area hospital in Zaheerabad.

The ACB officials nabbed Goud while accepting the bribe on behalf of Dr. Murahari. Both of them were arrested and presented before ACB Court in Hyderabad.
