The book delves at length how the government failed to prepare detailed project report for the proposed construction, how Tadkapally reservoir was made part of larger Pranahita – Chevella project, how the project cost escalated from Rs. 17,875 crore to Rs. 38,500 crore to Rs. 83,000 crore.
