Armoor leather park expected to employ 500 artisans

Development of a mini leather park in Armoor, Nizamabad district, is progressing at a brisk pace. The park will be ready by the end of this financial year. Once operational, the park is expected to provide employment to about 500 leather artisans.

Local entrepreneurs will be encouraged to operate leather units inside the park. The land on which the leather park is coming up belongs to LIDCAP after it was purchased from the Revenue Department. According to LIDCAP officials, the park is expected to increase revenues of the department.
