120 KITS students land job

As many as 120 students of the Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science (KITS) landed jobs in in various companies during the special placement drive held here on campus.

The Training and Placement section of KITS conducted the campus placement drive through Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Hyderabad, from September 27 to 30 . Final year B.Tech students attended the interviews. KITS director Y. Manohar said that students were trained from the beginning of the course . “KITS has an MoU with TCS since the last five years. We have been conducting several training programmes for final year students to develop soft skills, technical skills, leadership qualities and build self-confidence,” he said.

The selected students will undergo training for six months, said D. Harikrishna, Training and Placement officer.
