May 31, 2011 01:52 am | Updated 01:52 am IST - Bangalore:

The Special Court hearing the disproportionate assets case against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on Thursday reserved its order on an application for recalling a witness.

The court will pronounce its order on June 3. B.M. Mallikarjunaiah, judge of the Special Court and 36th Additional Sessions Court, adjourned the hearing after the arguments of counsel for Sasikala, one of the accused in the case and on whose behalf an application was filed to recall an auditor, and the Special Public Prosecutor.

While counsel for the accused insisted that recalling of the auditor was important, the Special Public Prosecutor said that the previous counsel of the accused had cross-examined the auditor in detail.
