Actor Vinu Chakravarthy is no more

The actor, who had appeared in 1,000 films, had also been a notable feature in several films of actor Rajinikanth including Guru Sishyan, Raajathi Raja and Annamalai.

Actor Vinu Chakravarthy (74), who has also written and directed films, died on Thursday. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Mr. Vinu Chakravarthy had appeared in over 1,000 films across the four south Indian languages.

The actor had also been a notable feature in several films of actor Rajinikanth including Guru Sishyan , Raajathi Raja and Annamalai .

He was last seen on screen in the Tamil movie Vaayai Moodi Pesavum which was directed by Balaji Mohan. He was also seen in a prominent role in Muni , the 2007 horror-comedy film directed by Raghava Lawrence.
